I've been a lover of Jim Mahfoods artwork since the Generation X Underground Special. It's... ah... it's um... er... ah... well, it's just different. I'll admit that most of my life, I've never really been too keen to the 'Graphitti Art' look, but man o man, did Jim Mahfood cure me of this blind curse. Now, while I myself cannot stand drugs in anyway what-so-ever, Jim Mahfoods story can. It is heavy on the drug scene and the drug lingo. Please read the story for what it is... a story.

Gwen, Rita and Daphne. Three girl friends since they've been born. All tough. All independent... yet all three girls need each other. What the Grrl Scouts have going on is a complete monopoly on drugs in Freak City all under the disguise of cute and innocent Girl Scouts.. Basically, they're making the big bucks and the so called 'Evil-Boss Guy' doesn't much like this and want's them outta the way. Simple as that... read the story!

Incendently, when Jim Mahfood originally wrote this story, he caught a lot of flak from local Girl Scout communities and such, so to avoid anymore heat, he simply altered the words and symbols so that they did not match the true Girl Scouts of America anymore. Some people just have really closed minds. Check out the book folks... it rocks!
